Silea

Silea S.p.A. is recognized as one of the leading European suppliers of loading equipment for the handling, measurement, transfer, and storage or petroleum products, hot and cold liquids, compressed gases (LPG), chemicals and industrial liquids.

Loading/Unloading Arm from Below – 1403 Series

The 1403 series bottom loading arms are used to load or unload tankers while remaining on the ground, where it is necessary to have a large radius of action available. This allows maximum coverage of the load points.

Loading Arm from Below – 1405 Series

The arms of the 1405 series are equipped, in the vertical pipe, with a flexible hose which gives them excellent maneuverability. In the standard version they are supplied with an API RP 1004 dry quick coupler and can also be used for the vapor recovery phase if accompanied by a specific API RP 1004 equipped with CHECK-VALVE. The balancing system allows a maximum angle, with respect to the horizontal axis, of +20° upwards and -20° downwards and allows it to support considerable moments applied to the joint. The 1405 Series loading arms are designed with bottom product entry (standard).

Loading Arm from Above – 1050 Series

The top loading arm is an articulated tube supported by a mechanical (torsion or compression spring) or pneumatic balancing system, which has the function of transferring fuels or industrial liquids into tankers and rail tankers through the upper hatch.
Specifically, the 1050 Series is used when a variable load range of action is not necessary.

Loading Arm from Above – 1101 Series

The 1101 series top loading arms are used to fill car tankers or iron tanks from above. The variable working radius allows you to cover a larger working area.

Top Loading Arm + Steam Recovery – 1201 Series

The 1201 series top loading arms are used to fill tankers from above when a large reach is required. This allows maximum coverage of the load points. In addition, the vapor recovery version allows the return of vapors into the line, via a dedicated pipe.

Floating Arm – 1501 Series

The 1501 series floating arms are designed for the suction of fluids in underground storage tanks. They allow you to vacuum the clean product close to the surface, avoiding fishing among the sediments that normally settle on the bottom.
They can be used with aviation fuel, as no contaminating metals are used in the construction.

Floating Arm – 1502 Series

The 1502 series floating arms are designed for the suction of fluids in above-ground storage tanks, with a diameter greater than the height. They allow you to vacuum the clean product close to the surface, avoiding fishing among the sediments that are normally found on the bottom. They can be used with aviation fuel, as no contaminating metals are used in the construction.

Floating Arm – 1505 Series

The 1505 series floating arms are designed for the suction of fluids in above-ground storage tanks, with a height greater than the diameter. They allow the clean product to be sucked close to the surface, avoiding fishing among the sediments that are normally found at the bottom of the tank. They can be used with aviation fuel, as no contaminating metals are used in the construction.
The presence of some limiting cables allows you to define specific opening angles of the float arms according to the dimensions of the tank, thus avoiding probable overturning or incorrect positioning of the components when emptying fluid into the tank.
